Joey Club Rules...

It is a little boring but all clubs have rules so here they are...

 

1. You will need an email address and internet access to join and be a member of Joey Club, we do not facilitate membership or the booking of sessions any other way - please ensure you enter your email address correctly when registering.
2. You can register babies who are under 12 months, as long as you are the Mother or Father, or legal guardian. Twins/Triplets can be registered together obviously.
3. Joey Club sessions are available from Monday - Saturday from 11am - 7pm and are quite different to our studio family portraits which are chargeable sessions. The studio may be open for sessions at other times in peak seasons, please refer to the Session Request Booking Calendar in our Client Online Account Area for availability. Please use the Session Request Booking Calendar to book your sessions. We may take bookings over the phone, but these are subject to us being available to take your call, however, the Session Request Booking Calendar will always take priority over bookings taken any other way.
4. Joey Club sessions are between 20 and 40 minutes (although we book the studio out for 1 hour on the hour) and are taken in a hi-key (white background) or low-key (dark background) environment. If your baby doesn't want to play ball and becomes unhappy, it is best to re-book a new session in a few days/weeks rather than continue. Please re-book as soon as possible after the cancelled session in the normal way.
5. We may have to cancel a session where little-ones who are 'over active' or are not able to remain where positioned by the photographer. This is because we light the subject in a certain way, from a certain angle and in a certain style, so we need the baby to be reasonably still to get results, obviously not a problem for our newborns.
6. You are only permitted to bring your own baby, who has been preregistered with 'Joey Club' beforehand using the online form, you are not permitted to bring babies of friends or relations. We will only photograph the baby who you have previously registered with us and/or the immediate parents (or legal guardians), family sittings with brothers and sisters are permitted, however, siblings are not photographed separately. 7. Images from your session will be online at our secure website for you to take a look at approximately 5 to 10 (weekdays) days after your session, on occasions this may be longer i.e. if we have been away. We'll let you know as soon as your images are ready for viewing via email.
8. The Free Digital Image is ordered from your online My Account Dashboard area, and will be made available to you via electronic download shortly after receiving your order form. You must order the image of your choice BEFORE the session expires online, which will be 50 days, we will not be able to provide you with a free image after this period. The Free Digital Image is sized as 6" x 4" (6"x6" for square) at 240 ppi JPEG. This size will allow you to print via a pro lab such as Boots. Our Intellectual Property License will accompany your download, it is often wise to save this along with your image as some printers will not print a professional image without a License allowing them to do so.
9. All image proofing and purchasing is completed online from your secure login area, we do not provide hardcopy proofs or contact sheets. You can send family and friends links to you session images from the online collection. Get in touch if you need any assistance in doing this.
10. We reserve the right to cancel your registration at anytime and for any reason. Inactive registrations will be deleted without notice, along with registrations that have no sessions booked after a period of time. Please ensure you book your session at the appropriate Joey Club stages, 0 to 3, 6-9, and at 12/13 months.
11. Print prices may vary from time to time, there is no guarantee that a print price from one session will be maintained in a future session, however, we pride ourselves in the knowledge that we are one of the cheapest professional studios around for print pricing and our plans are to remain so. Please use the link in you My Account Dashboard Area to confirm the current print prices at any time.
12. Joey Club registration ends 30 days after the baby's 1st birthday by default. You registration will remain active so that you can enjoy future images through our family portrait studio. WE often run follow-on promotional pricing for Joey Club babies, keep an eye on your "Available Specials" - the Link is in your My Account Dashboard Area.
13. It is, as you would expect, your responsibility to control your children's behaviour while at the studio. We do all that we can to ensure a safe environment for our customers and staff, however, a working studio is not a play area for children, and they must be supervised at all times and we can not be held responsible if children become hurt through no fault of our own.

 

Session and Booking Cancellations

If you need to change, cancel or postpone your photography session, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a change request to the booking date or time, but any changes are subject to our availability. A booking with our studio is a commitment to attend, in return we will not accept bookings from other clients for the same date and time. If you do not contact us prior to a photography session booking and subsequently do not show up, we will assume that you wish to cancel your registration with us and we will delete your registration accordingly without further communication with you. We may, at our discretion, re-instate a client registration that was previously de-registered subject to the payment of an administration charge of £15. At all times we encourage you to talk to us if you have any problems.
