Maternity and Bumps...

Demi Moore certainly started a new genre in photography when she controversially appeared on the front cover of Vanity Fair in 1991, 7 months pregnant. These days it is viewed as quite the norm, with mums-to-be even documenting the foetal growth along with their changing body shape... The images are often dramatic, but always sensitive, beautiful and natural. At the Baby Photography Studio, we can provide those once a life-time images for you, either at your home or at our studio in Crawley Down. There are three sessions to choose from, Maternity Sequence, Maternity Triptych, and Maternity 8th Month each can be purchased via the online shop under the Maternity and Bumps category.

Maternity Sequence

These sessions are taken at 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 months and then after the birth. The purpose is to record the bump as it grows and to provide an art image for the wall. The final image can be developed in several ways, however, panoramic offers the most drama...

Maternity Triptych

This is a series of three images taken at 3 months, 8, months and after the birth. The first image is a portrait of either Mum on her own or Mum and Dad together (Mum is pregnant, but not showing yet). The second image is a maternity picture with the bump fully developed around 8 months. Finally, the third image is the baby soon after birth. All the images are presented in a three picture presentation folio.

Maternity 8 Month

This single session is scheduled around 8 months, when the bump is fully developed. the session can be a simple black and white portrait, semi or implied fine art nude, or with your partner and/or your children - anything goes, its up to you.

The sessions are purchased directly from our online shop - here is a link. To book your session after purchase, first Register for a Studio Account (can be done as you check out online) and then when you have your login details confirmed back you will be able to access the Session Request Calendar from your Dashboard page (available 24/7) to find dates and times that suit you. While you are online, don't forget to register your newborn into the Joey Club from your Dashboard page for your free Joey Club sessions.
